At our Farm Holiday you can do everything or nothing at all and children can be entertained while parents relax, unwind or enjoy the activities.

Discover the delights of a leisurely horse ride across rolling hills and bushland taking in the magnificent views of the country side, perfect for both experienced and first timers, (age limit 8 years plus on the trail rides).


After your ride take a dip in the pool or relax in our spa. Spend a lazy afternoon along the banks of Crocodile creek chatting around the campfire cooking billy tea and damper, while you're there you may like to go canoeing down stream, its great fun for all ages !

Play tennis on our day/night tennis court, try your hand at archery or learn to crack a stock whip. You may like to bring your bikes and go bike riding or go for a relaxing walk in the country.

For those looking to chill there's nothing better than a good book at a quiet spot amongst a picturesque garden setting with a cool drink in hand.

We also have Perch in our farm dams for the keen fisherman.

Meals will be a highlight of your stay with delicious set menu’s including hearty hot breakfasts, sizzling barbecues with crisp salads and in the evening the scent of mouth watering roasts will tantalise your taste buds. BYO drinks.
The children will be overwhelmed with excitement as they head off on the hayride for a real "hands on" farm experience , helping with the farm chores, feeding the livestock and cuddly nursery animals. They'll also milk the cow, bottle feed the calves, feed Chloe the pig and watch our working dog muster the sheep for that old favourite shearing demonstration.

During most weekends and holiday times we run a kids club during the day and the night at a small cost per child allowing you to enjoy a relaxing dinner and more time to enjoy that well deserved break.

Private horse riding lessons are also available at very reasonable rates, advanced bookings are essential. Our farm stay is a slice of real Australia and brings together the best of the farm, bush and life in the country. Bilpin Country Lodge is a stunning 10acre B&B/farmstay located in Bilpin village close to the regional border between Hawkesbury & Blue Mountains.

We're a 3.5star property, recently rated by AAA Tourism. The lodge is all setup for family accommodation with a mix of bedrooms sleeping 2, 3, 4, 6 and even 8 people.

All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. Breakfast is provided each morning with remaining meals on a self catered basis. At the lodge guests have access to and use of a huge country kitchen and BBQs on the verandah, plus much more.

There's a giant spa, farm animals, canoes, playground, games room and much more.

Staying at the lodge is like having your own private large country house to enjoy.

A minutes walk from the lodge is Bilpin Springs orchard, one the Hawkesburys premier pick-your-own orchards.

Cedric Leathbridge who owns and runs the Bilpin Springs Orchard is our neighbour and our guests enjoy picking apples, peaches and many other fruits during season in Cedrics orchard.



Whilst fruit trees can be seen all around Bilpin, we're also proud of our gardens at Bilpin Country Lodge. There's large grassed areas where families can play cricket, football and just about any other activity needing a plenty of space. Exploring the lodge property there's bushwalking to experience, yabbies to catch in our yabby pond plus Silver and Golden perch to catch in our fishing dam. Families having a getaway, couples enjoying romantic escapes plus corporate visitors holding small conferences and off-site meetings all enjoy the location & welcoming friendliness at Bilpin Country Lodge.

Alpaca Feeding time at 3pm every day. Arrive at 2.45pm. Cost is $20 per person. Feeding takes about an hour.

Madison's Mountain Retreat is a four-star peaceful bed and breakfast farmstay in Kurrajong Heights , on acres bordering the Wollemi and Blue Mountains National Parks . Secluded with stunning scenery yet easy to reach, we have 8 self-contained cedar cottages and 2 refurbished train carriages. Each can accommodate up to 5 people. Every spacious cottage has a cosy log fire, kitchenette, TV and DVD player.

Some cottages have a private spa, massage is available by appointment and one cabin is wheelchair accessible. Madison 's is ideal for family holidays with the kids - have an adventure when you collect the eggs for breakfast or help us feed the alpacas every day.

Recently, Madison's has hosted garden weddings, 21st parties, wellbeing seminars, large family reunions, yoga retreats, workplace get-aways, womens' annual retreats and other special events.

Madison's has an 18 m indoor heated pool and spa, tennis court, gazebo with BBQ, large shed, common room (with library, pool table and open fire), open space and acres of bush.
