The Campus entrances have distinctive blue freestanding directories and information kiosks.

The Hawkesbury Campus is divided into location zones, which are signified via alphabetical letters.

Each building within a zone has a number. For example K4 is Stable Square. The tour map and guide indicates the location details and provides very brief details of the historic buildings. The tour guide contains a suggested route, which directs visitors to many of the historic buildings and some of the newer facilities.

The tour requires a minimum of 1 hour 30 minutes to complete. Cafeteria facilities are located in Building L2 near the oval and there is also a small food and coffee outlet open around lunchtime in Building G1.

Public toilets are located in Building K4 and in the G1 Quadrangle.

Most areas of the campus have good disabled access.
