~ A totally new concept in shopping tours.
~ ARE you aware that the produce you buy on a TCP Farmgate Tour is ultra fresh and the quality and life span is far superior to supermarket produce? By cutting out the middleman you can save money and food miles. The farmer can often supply information about how their produce is grown, harvested and how they themselves cook or prepare it!
~ IT is reassuring to know that you can make a difference because you are supporting the diminishing farming community of Sydney’s outskirts.
~ THE tours are run every second Friday and the usual stops are, Honey Producer, Olive Grove, Fig Farm, Egg Supplier, Smallgoods Manufacturer (Italian Deli Butcher) and Vegetable Farm. But depending on your groups interests you can have a tailor-made tour to suit your needs.
~ IN the appropriate seasons there is also fruit picking, two stops are missed out to go fruit picking. Contact TCP Farmgate Tours on 0424 188 779 to find out what fruit is in season for picking.
Experience all the rural charm that the Hawkesbury district has to offer by visiting one of Australia's oldest wineries, orchards, a working cattle or a vegie farm plus much more.
We will personalise your tours to suit your needs, you can stop and pick your own from our local orchards where you can purchase fresh produce.
You can taste test our fresh goats cheese and wines before you purchase from the producers or you could wander around a vegie farm with the farmer whilst your fresh product is picked.
We offer half day tours and week ends away or you can charter one of our deluxe buses and we will personalise a tour to suit your requirements.
